Mobilizing Christians has been our focus this year, since our desire was to reach the 26 provinces during GO Month and GO Day. We thank God that we were able to have meetings all around the country prior to GO Month. Some of the platforms that we used were radio, television and social media to spread awareness.
Regarding evangelism training, we noted that many churches and missionary organizations took on the vision of GO Movement to reach the DRC and the world with the Gospel. Soul-winning trainers and local church workers facilitated evangelistic material in our 26 provinces. We held meetings to plan strategies among leaders, We were able to evangelize large and small groups, taking into account the use of media at all levels.
This year the mobilization of evangelists was full of creativity: Jesus films were streamed, and small groups meetings were held. There is a zeal to share the Good News of Jesus Christ! Many believers share their faiths on the roads, street markets, offices, universities, schools and classrooms. It was very encouraging!
Despite the situation in eastern DRC where there is still war and a state of siege, GO Month and the GO Day took place. According to our statistics at least one person converted to Christianity for each evangelist that participated in GO Month, which goes over 150 thousands new believers. Among them were criminals and Muslims.
