GO Movement Tanzania launched GO Month 202 with the goal to prepare 10 regional Coordinators and train more than 1,000 pastors effectively. We trained 200,000 believers and 50,000 Youth Evangelists to reach over one million people with the gospel.
GO Movement was very successful in Tanzania! A big number of trainees (250,000 Christians) divided into groups and engaged in personal evangelism. They shared their faith in the streets, markets, hospitals, schools and through crusades. Many people were reached with the Good News and many decided to repent and follow Jesus.
We mobilized Christians from 11 regions: Mbeya, Dar es salaam, Mwanza, Dodoma, Arusha, Manyara, Singida, Geita, Shinyanga, Mara and Simiyu. Regional Coordinators participated with District coordinators down to local coordinators, pastors, church leaders and evangelists from their respective areas made this successful. The discipleship process is ongoing. We formed small Bible study groups in the local churches to help new believers grow in their faith and become strong so they can endure until the end.
On average, 30 believers per church are sharing the Gospel with at least 120 people. This resulted in each evangelism team leading 70 people to.
Some of our results and outcomes were:

– Near to 1 million people reached with the Gospel
– 103,5944 people received Christ
– 28,5111 new converts baptized
– 91 churches planted
