To prepare for GO2022, the National core team from GO21 regrouped in August 2021 to strategize and evaluate mobilization efforts from previous year against the quality and quantity of reports and verification processes. By September we had identified some of the challenges and put measures in place to resolve them. A key measure was training the coordinators to be able to rightly explain GO MOVEMENT to both local churches and to Para Church, Denominations, and Ministries.
In other areas, we found local partners with a burden to bring Youth back to God and new movements were formed with the help of GO MOVEMENT coordinators and resources, so we began training sub-coordinators and prepared for various activities from October 2021. The work of vision casting, training in personal evangelism, resource allocation and distribution began well.
We are working closely with local Churches to encourage them to include Soul Winning in their planned calendar events for their respective churches. In this way, believers will participate more and more in outreach activities and gradually begin to incorporate Soul Winning or sharing their faith in their Christian lifestyle. A main thing to highlight is the fruit of the outreach and planning:
– 2’230 pastors and leaders and 78’156 Christians trained in evangelism
– 15’000 churches and 50’000 Christians involved in GO Month
– Over 100,000 people reached with the Gospel
– Over 12,000 decisions for Christ
– 85’643 homes reached
– 8 new churches planted
Individuals have seen that they can use their Gifts TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES to present the Gospel. Church and ministries are growing in their partnerships to equip believers for work of ministry and Soul Winning. Local Churches participating in GO Movement are relying more on the leading of The Holy Spirit.
