GO Movement activities began with meetings of the team organizing for prayer and planning on Tuesdays prior to GO Month. May 6 was observed as a day of fasting and prayer. Many activities were carried out such as training sessions, evangelistic campaigns with Jesus Film streamings, door-to-door contact, distribution of Bibles, New Testaments, Gospel tracts, prayer meetings etc.
One of the highlights was the Rassemblement pour Christ 2022 organized by AGEMPEM which took place on May 22nd at the Stade Omnisports de Bamako. Thousands of evangelical Protestants gathered to pray for the church and for the nation of Mali. We give glory to the Lord for the smooth running of evangelization activities, strengthening and planting new churches during the month of May 22, Global Evangelism Month. Here are some statistics that have come down to us:
– 231 people trained in evangelism
– 4,114 people exposed to the gospel
– 183 new converts
– 50 churches involved
– 1 church planted
